Jitterbugs 2 years
Our unique Jitterbugs Music Classes offer the opportunity for your child to be immersed in a musical world where they can be introduced to early music fundamentals. These classes aim to promote musical development through rhythm, listening skills, pitch, movement to music, musical craft and musical games in a fun group setting where each child’s creativity is nurtured. Through singing both known and original songs our Jitterbug students are able to explore pitch and experience a wide variety of music activities, in what is often their first exposure to group learning. Our programme has been developed specifically with the two year old in mind with fast paced changes of activity to appeal to short attention spans and familiar weekly segments to build confidence in our youngest students.
Students attend weekly 30 minute lessons and progress through several key learning themes including animals, colours, numbers and shapes. Once students turn 3 they move through to our Little Beebopper Music programme.

Little Beebopper Music 3 years
This age specific program aims to develop all aspects of early music fundamentals for this most receptive age group. It is at this age that we can open the door for children to learn music as a language. During our Beebopper lessons students participate in number of activities including singing to develop pitch, music and movement, creativity, gross and fine motor skill exposure, rhythm response and percussion, correlation of sounds, listening skills through music appreciation as well as social and verbal interaction, discipline and concentration. Our programme is unique in that it introduces this age group to elementary notation and rhythmic reading and writing. Students bring along an item each week corresponding to the topic and original song on which the lesson is based.
Students attend weekly 45 minute lessons working through each Beebopper level and workbook. At around age 4, if they are ready, students move onto the Pianorama Junior Course, where they continue the same vibrant lesson structure with an introduction to piano based activities.

Pianorama Extension
(for graduates of the Primary & Intermediate Courses)
All musical styles of repertoire with an expanded technical development program are covered at this level. This, together with the acquired musical awareness, enables the teacher to work with the students in a broader field including composition, improvisation, keyboard harmony and extended theoretical components. In our Australian schools, many students will present for the AMEB theory exams, having completed the set syllabus for this level in the Extension curriculum. In our international schools, the examination curriculum in each country for specific theoretical levels are also covered in the Extension Course.
Throughout the Pianorama Extension course our students experience all musical styles of repertoire and a higher level of technical proficiency is developed. Through the musical awareness gained in completing the previous courses, students are able to work through a number of musical areas including improvisation, composition, keyboard harmony and extended theoretical components. Our students are encouraged to present for ABRSM theory exams as they complete the syllabus requirements in conjunction with the practical side of the extension programme.
Students attend weekly 60 minute lessons and work through the three Pianorama Extension course books after which they are able to graduate from the group music programme and follow one of the many musical interests they have been exposed to.
